Charlotte, North Carolina!
Jake had a training in Charlotte a week after our 7 year anniversary. We had Jake's parents watch the boys for us, and we made a trip out of it.
When we were packing, Keaton climbed in our suit case. He was trying to sneak on board:)
I really enjoyed just having that time with Jake. It kind of felt like a second honeymoon.
We were right down town in Charlotte. It is a beautiful city, full of art and culture.
When Jake was in his training, I spent my time in our hotel room. I thought I would be just fine having all of that time to myself, but I realized that I don't do well being stuck in one place for that long. It was nice to get some reading in though.
I almost read a whole book on oil painting.
We had a swimming pool in our hotel, but is wasn't heated. One night after we worked out, we decided to just go jump in it. I think we were pretty entertaining to a lady who was sitting there.
It ended up being a very short swim.
We ate at so many good restaurants!
There was a huge art museum that we went to.
It had some weird stuff, but it also had some beautiful paintings and sculptures.
I am so grateful we had this opportunity. I love Jake so much. He is my very best friend!

How fun that you guys got to get away for a little bit!! Looks like you had a great time. Does that mean that baby #4 will be on the way soon? Ha, just kidding, kind of;)
What a great week! It is soooo nice to get some undisturbed alone time. It looks so nice and green there and it looks like you had lots of fun:)
